Rio Las Vegas

Rio Las Vegas. Penn & Teller, Chippendales. Topless Revue. Eddie Griffin. Yahoo.
Located across the street from The Palms, Rio is another off Strip (see map) locals fave. It is also the host of the WSOP, that's the World Series of Poker for you noobs. It was Las Vegas' first all suite hotel, which makes its affordable cost astounding. These rooms are much bigger (if slightly dated) than your average hotel room, so you can feel like a prince even if you're a pauper.

In addition to the WSOP, Rio is host to Penn and Teller, topless revue X Rocks, Comedian Eddie Griffin and Chippendales. It also has a topless pool party, making the Rio a low cost option for those who want to be titillated (yup, did that).

Other Recommended Las Vegas Hotels

MGM Grand

The MGM Grand is the largest hotel in Las Vegas and second in the world to only the Izmailovo Hotel in Moscow (thanks Wikipedia). It is massive, green, has some huge lions and is the home to the MGM Grand Garden Arena where the biggest musical acts and boxing matches take place. MORE INFO

The Luxor: It may come as a surprise to many, but one of the most visually stunning hotels on the Las Vegas Strip is also one of the best bargains. The Luxor pyramid features odd shaped rooms that have seen many a weary head take a quick snooze before partying hardy once again. MORE INFO

Hard Rock Hotel

Hard Rock Hotel: To put in mildly the Hard Rock Hotel is one of the best places in Las Vegas. It's rooms are not as fancy as the Bellagio, it's food isn't as delectable at the Palazzo and it's clientele would make visitors to Nobu hide in their rooms. And that is what makes the Hard Rock so amazing. MORE INFO.
